Storeman/Lifting Operative

VGC Group are recruiting for the following position:

Role – Storeman/Lifting Operative

Location – Elgin (IV30 6GR)

Salary/Rate – £22.50 (PAYE) + Holiday Pay. Overtime rate £33.75.

Duration – Immediate start available. 6-month deployment.

Overview: We are looking for an experienced Storeman and Lifting Operative to join a major overhead line project from Beauly to Blackhillock. This is a great opportunity to work with a major Tier 1 contractor on an SSE scheme.

Required Experience: Previous experience in a similar role. Experience with lifting operations, banking vehicles and machinery, operating a telehandler, and organising yards/stores.

• Plant & Vehicle Marshall
• Slinger/Signaller
• SSSTS
• Crane/Lift Supervisor
• Telehandler

Desired Qualifications (Training may be available):

• Manual Handling
• Emergency First Aid
• COSHH Awareness
• Fire Safety Awareness
