Hours of work: 08:00-16:45 Mon to Thurs & 08:00 - 12:00 Friday
Overtime available at an enhanced rate
The role is based in Wellingborough and is commutable from Northampton, Rushden and surrounding areas.
The Role: Stores Operative
- Taking goods in and checking deliveries
- Sorting products and allocating stock to the correct store locations
- Picking parts and materials for the production team
- Carrying out stock takes and maintaining accurate inventory records
- Wrapping, packing and itemising parts for subcontractors
- Ensuring the stores area is organised, safe and operating efficiently
- Previous experience working in a stores or warehouse environment
- Counterbalance and Flexi Forklift Truck experience
- Good organisational skills and the ability to manage stock effectively
- Experience dealing with Proof of Delivery (POD) documentation
- Good attention to detail and accuracy when handling stock
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work as part of a team
