Stores Assistant in Aylesbury, Buckinghamshire

We are currently recruiting a Stores Operative, for our Aston Clinton based client, to join their busy and friendly team.

This is a hands-on role where attention to detail, organisation, and a proactive approach are key. Working closely with the Stores Supervisor, you will help ensure the smooth day-to-day running of the stores and yard areas.

Key Responsibilities:

• Allocating stock to jobs and company vehicles
• Maintaining accurate stock records and inventory levels
• Conducting stock takes and monitoring re-order levels
• Raising Purchase Orders to maintain stock availability
• Assisting with collections and returns
• Moving products safely throughout the stores, workshops, and yard areas
• Keeping work areas clean, organised, and tidy

What We're Looking For:

• Previous experience working within a stores, warehouse, or stock control environment
• Experience using stock control systems
• Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• A proactive and safety-conscious approach to work

Desirable Qualifications:

• Forklift Licence
• Sling & Banksman Certificate
