Stores Controller

We are currently recruiting for a Stores Controller to join a busy manufacturing site in Plymouth. This is a hands-on role responsible for the day-to-day running of stores operations, including material handling, goods inwards and dispatch.
Key Responsibilities:
- Kitting batches and supplying materials to production areas, including clean rooms and packing lines
- Moving stock and accurately recording movements using picking lists and ERP systems (full training provided)
- Controlling and recording movements of materials and finished goods in line with procedures
- Receiving goods inwards and preparing finished products for dispatch
- Loading and unloading deliveries, including pallet wrapping and strapping
- Carrying out cycle counts and stock checks to maintain inventory accuracy
- Ensuring stores, goods inwards, and dispatch areas are kept clean and organised
- Supporting wider business needs with any additional reasonable tasks
What We’re Looking For:
- Previous experience within a supply chain, manufacturing, or warehouse environment
- Understanding of ERP systems and stock rotation methods such as FEFO
- Forklift licence (advantageous but not essential)
- Knowledge of risk assessments and safe working practices
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work in a fast-paced environment

Rotational Hours 6am – 2pm & 11am – 7pm
