Stores Driver

Location: Wolverhampton (Racecourse Road, Dunstall, WV6)
Contract: Permanent, Full Time
Service: Community Equipment Service

We're looking for a reliable and motivated Driver / Storeperson to join our Community Equipment Service team in Wolverhampton.

This is a rewarding opportunity to support local people by delivering, collecting, assembling and maintaining essential community equipment that helps individuals live safely and independently in their own homes. You'll be joining a dedicated team providing an important service to the local community.

As a Driver / Store-person, you will:

• Deliver and collect community equipment from customer's homes.
• Assemble and fit equipment where required and provide guidance on its use.
• Prepare equipment for delivery and ensure vehicles are loaded safely.
• Clean, refurbish and safety-check returned equipment before returning it to stock.
• Receive and check incoming deliveries from suppliers.
• Complete stock checks and maintain accurate records.
• Help maintain a safe, clean and organised warehouse environment.
• Carry out vehicle checks and drive in accordance with company policies and road safety requirements.
• Contribute ideas and suggestions to help improve the service.

• Full, clean driving licence.
• Previous experience within a warehouse, logistics or similar environment.
• Good verbal and written communication skills.
• A customer-focused approach and the ability to treat people with dignity and respect.
• A flexible and positive attitude towards teamwork.
• Willingness to complete a driver assessment if required.

• Forklift Truck Licence.
• Experience using a forklift truck.
• Health & Safety or Moving & Handling training.
• Knowledge of community equipment, daily living aids or infection prevention procedures.
