Stores Operative

Location: West Hull
Salary: £12.86 per hour
Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:00am - 4:00pm

We are currently recruiting for a Stores Operative to join a well-established and prestigious manufacturing company based in West Hull. This is an excellent opportunity for an organised and reliable individual to become part of a successful team producing high-quality products for customers across the UK and beyond.

Working within a busy stores and warehouse environment, you will play a key role in ensuring materials and products are accurately received, stored, picked, and despatched to support production and customer requirements.

• Booking goods in and checking deliveries against purchase orders.
• Accurately storing stock and maintaining organised warehouse locations.
• Carrying out regular stock checks and inventory counts.
• Updating stock records and reporting discrepancies.
• Picking components and materials for production requirements.
• Preparing finished goods and customer orders for despatch.
• Packing products securely to ensure safe transportation.
• Loading and unloading deliveries where required.
• Maintaining a clean, safe, and organised stores environment.
• Working closely with production, purchasing, and logistics teams to ensure smooth operations.

• Previous experience within a stores, warehouse, or stock control environment.
• Good attention to detail and accuracy.
• Ability to manage stock effectively and keep accurate records.
• Strong organisational skills and the ability to prioritise workloads.
• A proactive and team-focused attitude.
• Basic computer skills for stock management systems.
• Forklift Truck licence would be advantageous but is not essential.

• £12.86 per hour.
• Monday to Friday working hours with no weekend work.
