Stores Person

We are currently looking for a Stores Person. You will be working in Murston (ME10). This is looking to start ASAP. 

Monday - Friday

07:00am - 16:30pm

Temp Contract - Ongoing

Pay rate - £14ph paye

Job Purpose

• Maintain stock accuracy through daily picks, receiving, and packing of materials, ensuring the correct items are available for crews and project schedules. This includes separation and labelling of materials for schemes or stock, and timely communication with planning teams regarding availability. 
• Control all inbound and outbound material movements including the receiving, checking, and appropriate storage of deliveries and returns. Ensure returned materials are cleaned, tested, and either re-stocked or documented for return to suppliers.
• Perform quality checks and reconditioning tasks such as testing, cleaning, painting, and component stripping to maximise the usability of recovered or surplus items
• Use forklift and reach truck to support material movement, ensuring safety, speed, and accuracy in loading/unloading and stock organisation.
