Storeperson – Electronic Components

We are currently recruiting for an experienced Storeperson to join our client’s team.

This is a hands-on stores and warehouse position suited to someone who has previous experience handling electronic components within an engineering, electronics or manufacturing environment.

You will be responsible for receiving, storing, picking and issuing components accurately, while ensuring stock records are maintained and materials are handled correctly.

Key Responsibilities

• Receive, inspect and book in incoming electronic components and materials.

• Pick and issue parts to production and engineering teams.

• Ensure electronic components are stored and handled correctly.

• Maintain accurate stock levels and inventory records.

• Carry out regular stock checks and assist with stocktakes.

• Identify and report damaged, incorrect or missing components.

• Ensure parts are labelled, organised and stored in the correct locations.

• Prepare components and materials for internal production requirements.

• Maintain a clean, organised and efficient stores environment.

• Follow relevant health and safety, quality and company procedures.

About You

• Previous experience working within a stores, warehouse or stock control environment.

• Experience handling electronic components is essential.

• Ideally experienced within an electronics, engineering or manufacturing environment.

• Good understanding of component identification, part numbers and stock control.

• Experience using ERP, MRP or stock management systems would be advantageous.

• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.

• Good organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities.

• Comfortable working independently and as part of a wider production or engineering team.
