Stores Warehouse Operative in Old Basing, Hampshire

We are recruiting for a Stores / Warehouse Operative to work with an engineering client of ours in Basingstoke. The role is offered on an ongoing basis which may lead to a permanent role in the future.

Prior experience in Stores / stock control / warehouse operative is essential.

Candidates must be available immediately or within a week from being offered the role after a successful interview.

Required experience / skills:

• Goods in, receive parts / materials with all necessary checks carried out.
• Picking of parts to issue to departments (kitting) and allocating to the relevant department.
• Stock counting, general stock control.
• Excellent attention to details / counting skills.
• Experience within a warehouse / stores environment.
• Team player.
• Physically fit.

The work is offered on a day shift Monday to Friday working 08.00 - 17.00 Monday to Thursday and 08.00 - 13.00 on Fridays covering as total of 39 hours per week. Overtime is available sometimes on weekdays/weekends (1.5x weekday/Saturday & double time on a Sunday).

Hourly rate £13.50 per hour.
