Experienced and professional Street Cleansing Operative required to work with a leading and highly reputable organisation.

My client requires an experienced Street Cleansing Operative to join their award-winning environmental services division on an ongoing temporary contract. Are you looking to work with a prestigious and well-known employer? Please see below details.

Location: Brownhills

Pay: £17.23 per hour (Paid weekly via umbrella)

Hours: Up to 37 Hours (Monday to Friday, 4 days per week with 1 rest day)

Start Date: ASAP

Duration: 3 months (with potential to extend)

Street Cleansing Operative

  • Carry out street cleansing duties including litter picking and sweeping

  • Remove fly tipping and bulky waste from public areas

  • Complete graffiti removal and street weed control

  • Undertake vegetation control to maintain public spaces

  • Carry out play area inspections and report maintenance issues

  • Operate mechanical sweeping equipment where required

  • Support domestic waste and recycling collections when required

  • Work safely and efficiently whilst delivering a high standard of environmental services

Requirements

  • Must hold a valid CPC qualification

  • Must hold a valid Class 1 HGV Licence

  • Must hold a full UK Driving Licence with no more than 3 penalty points

  • Must have experience within street cleansing, environmental or grounds maintenance services

  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team

  • Strong knowledge of Health & Safety practices

  • Excellent communication and customer service skills
