Streetworks Scheduler in East Midlands

Our client is seeking an organised and proactive Streetworks Scheduler to support a Winter Readiness Project within the highways sector. This contract role will involve coordinating Streetworks activities, work programmes, resources and traffic management arrangements to ensure works are delivered efficiently and in line with relevant requirements.

• Schedule and coordinate Streetworks and highway activities
• Liaise with clients, contractors, traffic management companies and internal departments
• Coordinate work programmes and whereabouts to ensure teams, resources and equipment are available when required
• Manage and monitor Streetworks permits, notices and associated documentation
• Ensure works are scheduled within agreed timescales and in accordance with relevant Streetworks requirements
• Monitor planned and ongoing works, identifying potential delays, conflicts and operational issues
• Communicate schedule changes and ensure all relevant parties remain informed
• Coordinate traffic management requirements and maintain accurate records of works, permits, schedules and communications

• Experience in Streetworks scheduling, highways coordination or a related operational environment
• Good understanding of Streetworks processes, permits, notices and compliance requirements
• Knowledge of highway works and traffic management arrangements
• Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines
• Excellent communication and liaison skills when working with contractors, clients and operational teams
• Strong attention to detail and accurate record-keeping abilities
• Ability to identify and resolve scheduling clashes, delays and operational queries
• Confident using scheduling systems, databases and standard Microsoft Office applications
