Strip Fitter

Location: Rochester (Own transport required due to location)
Pay: £17.00 per hour
Hours: Monday to Friday, 6:30am - 4:30pm
Contract: Temp to Permanent

Are you an experienced Strip Fitter looking for your next opportunity? We are recruiting for a skilled and reliable individual to join a well-established vehicle bodyshop in Rochester. This is an excellent opportunity to secure a long-term role with the potential to become permanent for the right candidate.

Working as part of a professional and supportive team, you will play a key role in the repair process, ensuring vehicles are stripped, repaired, and reassembled to the highest standards.

• Strip and refit vehicle panels, trims, and components.
• Prepare vehicles for repair by safely removing damaged parts.
• Reassemble vehicles following repair work, ensuring a high-quality finish.
• Organise and store removed parts to allow efficient reassembly.
• Work closely with bodyshop technicians to maintain smooth workflow.
• Support junior team members and contribute to a positive team environment.
• Adhere to health and safety procedures at all times.

• Previous experience as a Strip Fitter is essential.
• Full UK Driving Licence.
• Strong attention to detail and pride in workmanship.
• Ability to work independently and manage workload effectively.
• Positive, team-oriented attitude.
• Passion for the automotive industry and delivering quality repairs.

• Competitive pay rate of £17.00 per hour.
• Monday to Friday working pattern with no weekends.
