Revit Technician
York
If you're a Revit Technician looking for more than just another production role, this is an opportunity to join a growing independent Engineering Consultancy where your work genuinely influences projects from concept through to construction.
With an established reputation across the built environment, this modern consultancy delivers structural and civil engineering solutions on projects spanning residential, healthcare, education, commercial, transport, defence and bespoke developments throughout the UK. Thanks to a sustained increase in workload and a strong pipeline of work, they're looking to expand their technical team in York.
Working alongside experienced structural engineers, you'll produce detailed 2D drawings and coordinated 3D BIM models for a wide variety of building structures. Using Revit Structure as your primary software, you'll develop and manage structural BIM models while producing high-quality drawings across steel, reinforced concrete, masonry and timber projects. You'll collaborate closely with engineers, architects and contractors to ensure designs are practical, coordinated and delivered to the highest standard.
The ideal candidate will have at least 12 months' experience using Revit Structure within a structural engineering consultancy and be confident producing detailed structural drawings. Strong AutoCAD skills are essential, while experience with Tekla Structures and Bluebeam would be beneficial but isn't essential. An HNC or HND in Civil or Structural Engineering would be advantageous, although practical consultancy experience and a passion for technical excellence are equally valued.
What sets this business apart is its culture. You'll join a friendly, collaborative team where experienced colleagues are always available to support your development, whether that's improving your BIM capabilities, broadening your technical knowledge or progressing your career in the direction that interests you most. The office is modern, welcoming and less than ten minutes from York station, with flexible working available once you're established in the role, regular team socials, excellent investment in software and equipment, and a genuine focus on creating an enjoyable place to work.
If you're looking for a consultancy where you'll work on varied projects, continue developing your technical skills and be recognised as an important part of a growing team, this could be an excellent next move.
