Ceto Talent is recruiting for a Civil / Structural Engineer to join a growing consultancy delivering rail infrastructure projects.

This role offers a mix of design and site-based work, providing exposure across the full project lifecycle from initial assessment through to delivery.

Key requirements:

  • Experience in civil or structural design within a consultancy environment
  • Interest or experience in rail or infrastructure projects
  • Understanding of UK design standards
  • Experience or willingness to carry out site inspections and condition assessments
  • Strong technical reporting and communication skills
  • Experience with AutoCAD, MicroStation or BIM tools

Responsibilities include:

  • Delivering civil and structural design work on infrastructure projects
  • Carrying out site inspections and structural assessments
  • Producing calculations, specifications, drawings and technical reports
  • Supporting multidisciplinary project delivery
  • Working with clients and internal teams to meet project requirements
  • Ensuring compliance with health, safety and quality standards

Degree qualified in Civil or Structural Engineering or equivalent experience. Working towards ICE or IStructE membership is beneficial.
