Are you an experienced Structural Engineer with a passion for diagnosing building defects and delivering practical engineering solutions?
We're working with a growing, well-established structural and civil engineering consultancy that is expanding due to a significant increase in workload. This is an excellent opportunity to join a close-knit team where you'll play a key role in structural inspections, defect diagnosis and the delivery of high-quality technical reports across a wide variety of building types.

The RoleAs a Structural Engineer, you'll be responsible for carrying out structural inspections, investigating defects and producing detailed reports for clients. You'll work on a diverse portfolio of projects across residential, commercial and historic buildings while contributing to the continued growth of the business.
Key Responsibilities-
Carry out structural inspections of a wide range of buildings and structures.

Diagnose structural defects and identify appropriate remedial solutions.

Produce clear, detailed structural survey reports.

Prepare specifications for remedial works.

Liaise with senior management and provide regular project updates.

Support the continued development and growth of the business through innovative ideas and technical input.
We're looking for someone who has:

Several years' post-graduate experience in structural engineering.

Proven experience carrying out structural surveys and producing structural reports.

Strong knowledge of traditional and non-traditional construction methods.

Excellent technical and problem-solving abilities.

Strong written report writing and communication skills.

Good IT skills, including Microsoft Office.

Full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle.

Chartered or working towards Chartership (MIStructE or MICE).

Experience working with historic or listed buildings.

Salary of £40,000 - £50,000 depending on experience.
