The Opportunity
As a Structural Technician, you will work closely with structural engineers and the wider design team to produce detailed drawings and BIM models for a variety of building projects.
You will be responsible for:
·Producing detailed structural drawings and models using Revit.
·Preparing general arrangement drawings, reinforcement details and construction information.
·Developing and maintaining BIM models throughout the design process.
·Assisting with the coordination of structural information with architects and other consultants.
·Producing accurate technical drawings in line with project specifications and UK standards.
·Updating and revising drawings throughout the project lifecycle.
·Supporting engineers with technical detailing and project delivery.
·Ensuring all drawings are completed accurately and within agreed timescales.
What You'll Bring
To be successful in this Structural Technician role, you should have:
·Previous experience working as a Structural Technician within a consultancy environment.
·Strong proficiency using Revit for structural projects.
·Experience using AutoCAD.
·A good understanding of structural detailing for a variety of building materials including steel, concrete, timber and masonry.
·Knowledge of current UK Building Regulations and industry standards.
·Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills.
·Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team.
·A proactive approach and willingness to continue developing your technical expertise.

·Salary of £35,000 - £45,000 per year dependent on experience.
