Student Mentor - August Start – 4-6 months

Gloucester

Pay: £15.74 per hour

Are you passionate about supporting young people and making a real difference in their educational journey?

We're looking for a Student Mentor to join a friendly and supportive college in Gloucestershire. In this rewarding role, you’ll be working directly with students in a classroom setting, delivering timetabled sessions focused on PSHE topics and providing valuable pastoral support to help them thrive.

What you’ll be doing:

• Leading classroom-based PSHE sessions with college students
• Providing pastoral guidance to support students' personal development and wellbeing
• Collaborating with college staff to identify and address student support needs

What we’re looking for:

• A good working knowledge of how to support young people
• Experience in education and delivering to groups of young people in an informal or formal setting.
• Some safeguarding and wellbeing experience.
• GCSEs in English and Maths (Grade C/4 or above)
• DBS check will be required
