Sub Agent

A leading construction contractor is seeking an experienced Civil Engineering Sub Agent for a permanent opportunity working across Lancashire and Cumbria, with exciting projects within the water and energy sector.

An established, privately owned construction business with a strong reputation for delivering civil engineering and building projects across a range of sectors. The company offers a supportive working environment with opportunities for long-term career development and progression.

The successful candidate will lead the safe, efficient and successful delivery of civil engineering projects on site. Responsibilities include managing site teams, subcontractors, plant and materials, overseeing programmes and budgets, ensuring compliance with health, safety, quality and environmental standards, and maintaining strong relationships with clients and stakeholders.

• HNC/HND in Civil Engineering, Construction Management or equivalent.
• CSCS management-level card and SMSTS qualification.
• Proven experience as a Site Agent within civil engineering.
• Experience delivering projects safely, on time and within budget.
• Strong leadership, planning and organisational skills.
• Good commercial awareness and knowledge of construction processes.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
