Job Title: Sub Agent
Location: Various Locations Across Scotland
Start Date: ASAP
Duration: Permanent (Freelance Considered)
Working Hours: Full-Time
Salary: Circa £50,000 per annum (Dependent on Experience) + Car Allowance/Company Car + Pension Contributions + Healthcare

Overview:

Corrie Recruitment are currently recruiting for an experienced Sub Agent to work on major energy sector projects across Scotland.

This is an excellent opportunity for a candidate with a strong civil engineering background to join an established contractor delivering key infrastructure projects within the energy sector.

Applicants must be willing to work away from home when required, with accommodation provided and a living away allowance paid.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assisting with the management and delivery of civil engineering works on energy infrastructure projects
• Overseeing daily site operations to ensure works are completed safely, efficiently, and to programme
• Coordinating subcontractors, site engineers, and operational teams
• Monitoring project progress, quality, and compliance with technical specifications
• Supporting the Site Agent and Project Manager with planning, programming, and resource allocation
• Ensuring all works are carried out in accordance with health & safety regulations
• Managing site documentation, progress reports, and quality assurance records
• Liaising with clients, subcontractors, and other project stakeholders

Requirements:

• Strong background in civil engineering and infrastructure projects
• Experience working on energy sector projects would be advantageous
• Good understanding of construction methods, site management, and health & safety procedures
• Strong organisational, communication, and leadership skills
• Relevant civil engineering qualifications or equivalent industry experience
• Valid CSCS Card and relevant site management certifications preferred
• Full UK driving licence
• Willingness to travel and work away from home when required
