Sub Agent

We are recruiting for an experienced Sub Agent to join a leading civil engineering contractor on a major roundabout improvement scheme in Bristol.

This is a six-month contract with an immediate start, overseeing the delivery of key packages including earthworks, drainage and kerbing.

Key responsibilities

• Managing the safe and efficient delivery of site operations.
• Supervising earthworks, drainage and kerbing activities.
• Coordinating subcontractors, site engineers and suppliers.
• Monitoring programme, quality and productivity.
• Ensuring compliance with health, safety and environmental standards.
• Preparing and reviewing RAMS, ITPs and site documentation.
• Producing progress reports and maintaining accurate site records.
• Working closely with the Project Manager to ensure successful project delivery.

Requirements

• Previous experience as a Sub Agent on highways or civil engineering projects.
• Strong background delivering earthworks, drainage and kerbing packages.
• Good understanding of NEC contracts.
• SMSTS, CSCS and First Aid.
• HNC/HND or Degree in Civil Engineering is desirable.
• Strong communication and organisational skills.
