Sub Agent

We are currently recruiting for an experienced Sub Agent to join a major highways infrastructure project based in Cambridge on a 12-month contract, with a start date of 18th August.

This is an excellent opportunity to work on a high-profile highways scheme, supporting the successful delivery of key construction works from planning through to completion.

Key Responsibilities:

• Managing day-to-day site operations to ensure works are delivered safely, on time and within budget.
• Coordinating site teams, subcontractors and suppliers to maintain programme.
• Preparing and reviewing RAMS, ITPs and other project documentation.
• Monitoring quality and ensuring all works are carried out in accordance with project specifications.
• Supporting the Site Agent and Project Manager with planning, reporting and commercial awareness.
• Promoting and maintaining the highest standards of health, safety and environmental compliance.

Requirements:

• Proven experience working as a Sub Agent on highways or major civil engineering projects.
• Good understanding of NEC contracts.
• SMSTS, CSCS and First Aid certifications.
• HNC/HND or Degree in Civil Engineering or a related discipline.
• Strong organisational and communication skills with the ability to lead site teams effectively.
