Substation Fitter

VGC Group are recruiting for the following position:

Role – Substation Fitter 

Location – AnSuidhe GIS Substation (PA32 8XT)

Salary/Rate – £34 per hour (PAYE) + Holiday Pay. Overtime rate £51.

Duration – Starting Monday 6th July for 4 months. 

Overview: We are looking for 2 x experienced substation fitters to work at AnSuidhe Substation in Inveraray. 

Required Experience: Previous experience with substation fitting including experience with earthing. 

Required Qualifications:

- EUSR Utility SHEA Power 

- Slinger/Signaller 

- Manual Handling 

- Emergency First Aid at Work 

- COSHH Awareness 

- Fire Safety Awareness
