Murphy is delivering major electricity network upgrades across the north of Scotland. As part of Ofgem's £29+ billion "Pathway to 2030" program, their work includes constructing new substations and hundreds of kilometers of high-voltage overhead lines and underground cables to connect renewable energy to the national grid.
Whats in Store for you:
As a Groundwork Supervisor you will play a key role in overseeing and coordinating groundworks activities on our project.
What your day will include:
- Supervising and leading groundworks teams to ensure works are completed on time.
- Conducting regular site inspections to ensure compliance and safety standards are being met.
- Monitoring equipment usage and maintenance to optimise productivity.
- Providing on-site leadership, guidance and support to the groundworks crew.
What we need from you:
- SSSTS / SMSTS
- Previous experience supervising Groundworks projects
- In-depth knowledge of groundwork processes and techniques
- Experience of working within energy sector would be an advantage.
- Strong communicator
- Strong team player with the ability to build solid working relationships across the team.
- Flexibility to travel and stay away from home.
- UK driving licence.
