We are looking for an experienced Supplier Quality Engineer to support strategic supplier quality initiatives across our global operations. This is an exciting opportunity for a quality-focused professional who thrives in a fast-paced, regulated environment and enjoys working with cross-functional teams and international suppliers.

You will play a key role in maintaining and enhancing the company's Global Supplier Quality Programme. You will work closely with suppliers, manufacturing partners, procurement, regulatory, operations, and quality teams to ensure the highest standards of compliance, quality, and performance are achieved.

Key Responsibilities

✅ Support and continuously improve the Global Supplier Quality Programme.
✅ Lead supplier performance monitoring and drive continuous improvement activities.
✅ Manage supplier-related investigations through SCAR and CAPA processes.
✅ Support internal non-conformance and CAPA investigations.
✅ Participate in supplier selection, qualification, evaluation, and approval activities.
✅ Conduct supplier audits and assess compliance with quality and regulatory requirements.
✅ Develop and track supplier quality KPIs and corrective action effectiveness.
✅ Ensure compliance with purchasing controls and applicable regulatory requirements.
✅ Build strong relationships with internal stakeholders and suppliers worldwide.
✅ Support third-party product batch release activities where required.



What We're Looking For



Essential Experience

  • Minimum 3 years' experience within the medical device industry.
  • At least 2 years' experience in Supplier Quality.
  • Experience managing CAPA, NCR, and SCAR processes.
  • Supplier onboarding and Quality Agreement experience.
  • Proven experience conducting supplier audits.
  • Strong understanding of supplier performance management and monitoring.
  • Knowledge of ISO 13485, ISO 9001, FDA requirements, GMP, and EU MDR.


Skills

  • Strong analytical and statistical skills.
  • Excellent organisation and prioritisation capabilities.
  • Experience using quality systems and databases such as SAP, TrackWise, or Documentum.
  • Advanced Microsoft Office skills, particularly Excel.
  • Ability to work independently in a remote environment while collaborating globally.


Qualifications

🎓 Bachelor's Degree (or higher) in Science, Engineering, or a related discipline.
🎓 ISO 9001 or ISO 13485 Lead Auditor certification is desirable.



Location & Travel

📍 Remote (UK) with occasional attendance at local offices when required.
