Supplier Quality Engineer in Westerham, Kent

We are currently looking for a Supplier Quality Agent for a contract role based in Biggin Hill.

Position: Supplier Quality Agent

Location: Biggin Hill, United Kingdom

Duration: Minimum 6 months

Frequency: 40 hours per week

• Take ownership of production disruptions related to supplier performance.

• Lead structured problem-solving activities, such as 8D and RCCA, with cross-functional stakeholders.

• Identify root causes and implement effective, long-term corrective actions.

• Follow up on corrective actions to ensure they are completed and effective.

• Coordinate cross-functional activities to restore and maintain operational stability.

• Organize and support other Quality Assurance (QA) activities, including projects, monthly reports, and other reporting requirements.

• 5+ years of experience in a technical field, such as technology, technical documentation, technical writing, website development, or Microsoft Office.

• Strong experience with data collection, analysis, and program tracking.

• Strong knowledge and experience using Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, and Excel for reporting.

• Strong experience organising and delivering training, with excellent presentation and communication skills.

• Strong experience writing policies and procedures, including coordinating related projects.

• Strong experience with bench marking and documentation mapping.

• Strong knowledge and experience with regulatory Quality Systems, including TCCA and FAA requirements, as well as Quality Assurance methods, processes, and techniques.

• Six Sigma Black Belt certification is preferred.
