Overview
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Supplier Relationship Analyst to join our team on a contract basis. This role is integral to managing and enhancing relationships with key and strategic suppliers, ensuring value delivery for both the organization and its partners.
Responsibilities
- Develop and implement relationship management plans for key/strategic suppliers.
- Monitor supplier performance and ensure compliance with organizational standards.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives on the supplier side.
- Partner with suppliers to resolve performance issues and provide detailed reporting on outcomes.
- Utilize relationship management techniques to foster collaboration and mutual value creation.
- Advanced education and relevant work experience in supplier relationship management or a related field.
- Strong negotiation, cost analysis, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently with general supervision.
- Experience in influencing others within the job area through clear communication of facts, policies, and practices.
- Familiarity with supplier quality management.
- Act as the primary point of contact for key/strategic suppliers, ensuring alignment with organisational goals.
- Analyse supplier performance metrics and identify areas for improvement.
- Collaborate with internal teams and suppliers to address and resolve any performance or compliance issues.
- Prepare and present reports on supplier performance and relationship management outcomes.
- Continuously seek opportunities to enhance supplier relationships and drive value creation.
