Supply Chain Coordinator
£35,000 per annum | Precision Engineering / Manufacturing
Wolverhampton
Hours: Mon–Thu 08:00–17:00, Fri 08:00–13:00
An established precision engineering company is looking for a Supply Chain Coordinator to join their Purchasing team. This is a great opportunity for someone with manufacturing procurement experience who wants to grow within a fast-paced, technical environment.
What you'll be doing
- Raising and managing Purchase Orders through the ERP system
- Sourcing suppliers, evaluating quotes, and negotiating on price, delivery and quality
- Expediting orders and resolving delivery delays with suppliers
- Managing subcontract and special process requirements
- Maintaining supplier records, KPI trackers and Approved Supplier List
- Resolving invoice queries with Finance and Goods In
- Preparing and evaluating tenders
- Reporting on spend and departmental KPIs
What you'll need
- Previous experience in a supply chain, procurement or purchasing role
- Manufacturing/engineering background preferred
- Strong Excel and ERP/MRP system skills
- CIPS Level 3 essential
- Excellent communication and organisational skills
