Supply Chain Coordinator - Bury St Edmunds - £30-35k

We are currently recruiting for a Supply Chain Coordinator on behalf of our client based on the outskirts of Bury St Edmunds. This is an excellent opportunity to join a growing team and play a key role in improving supplier communication, purchasing processes and supply chain visibility across the business

Salary: £30-35k

Hours: 08:00-17:00pm (Monday-Friday)

• Raise, issue and maintain purchase orders accurately and in line with company procedures.
• Liaise with suppliers regarding acknowledgements, pricing, lead times and delivery schedules.
• Track supplier orders from purchase order through to delivery, ensuring visibility of supplier performance and OTIF measures.
• Identify material shortages, delivery risks or supplier delays that could impact production or customer commitments.
• Maintain accurate purchasing information to support Finance and payment processing.
• Coordinate inbound freight, supplier deliveries and collections whilst keeping internal stakeholders updated.
• Escalate concerns relating to cost, quality or delivery performance in a timely manner.

• Previous experience within a Supply Chain, Purchasing, Procurement or Supplier Coordination role.
• Strong organisational skills with excellent attention to detail.
• Confident communicator, comfortable liaising with both suppliers and internal stakeholders.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and follow up on outstanding actions.
• Someone proactive who can identify potential supply chain risks and help resolve issues before they escalate.
