Our client is a renowned provider of bespoke design and manufacturing services to market-leading businesses across the aerospace, medical and industrial sectors. They have two Supply Chain Coordinator vacancies available and are looking to recruit two proactive and highly organised candidates to join their growing team!

Each Supply Chain Coordinator will help coordinate the movement of components and finished goods, working closely with overseas factories, logistics providers and internal departments to support accurate, on-time delivery.

Supply Chain Coordinator Roles and Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate component and finished goods requirements with international factories and supply chain partners, monitoring production schedules, order progress and expected completion dates
  • Maintain regular communication with overseas factories, follow up on outstanding actions and proactively identify material shortages, production delays or logistics issues, escalating significant risks to the Supply Chain Lead
  • Work with freight forwarders and logistics providers to arrange and monitor international shipments
  • Build positive relationships with factories, suppliers and logistics providers while collaborating with Sales, Engineering, Production, Purchasing and other internal departments
  • Manage supplier onboarding and reapproval, obtain the required documentation, produce monthly scorecards and coordinate supplier performance reviews
  • Support Open General Export Licence compliance, purchasing and wider supply chain administration, including raising purchase orders and monitoring supplier commitments

Ideal Supply Chain Coordinator:

  • Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage several tasks and priorities simultaneously
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to work effectively with internal teams and international suppliers
  • Strong analytical skills, excellent attention to detail and a proactive approach to identifying and resolving potential issues
  • Strong IT skills, including Microsoft Word and Excel; experience using an MRP or ERP system would be advantageous but is not essential
  • Strong written and spoken English; Mandarin or Cantonese language skills would be advantageous when communicating with overseas partners but are not essential
  • Previous experience within supply chain, logistics, manufacturing, purchasing or order management would be beneficial, while experience within electronics or a similar technical industry would be advantageous

Working Hours and Benefits

  • 36.5 working hours per week, Monday to Friday, with flexible start and finish times
  • Some flexibility on salary depending on skills and experience
  • 25 days’ holiday plus bank holidays, increasing annually to a maximum of 30 days
  • One month’s paid sabbatical after six years of service
