Supply Chain Coordinator in King's Lynn, Norfolk

Are you organised, commercially aware and confident coordinating suppliers, stock and schedules? We are looking for a proactive Supply Chain Coordinator to join a growing company in King’s Lynn. This is a varied role where you will help keep materials and products moving efficiently, support excellent customer service and build strong relationships across the supply chain.

The Role

Working closely with purchasing, production, warehousing, sales and external suppliers, you will coordinate day-to-day supply chain activity from order placement through to delivery. You will monitor stock, maintain accurate records, resolve issues quickly and provide clear updates to internal teams and customers.

Key Responsibilities

• Coordinate purchase orders, supplier confirmations and delivery schedules.
• Monitor stock levels, lead times and material availability to support operational requirements.
• Liaise with suppliers, hauliers and internal departments to keep orders on track.
• Identify potential shortages or delays and take prompt action to minimise disruption.
• Maintain accurate data within ERP, stock and purchasing systems.
• Support demand planning, forecasting and inventory reviews.
• Investigate delivery, quality and invoice queries, escalating where appropriate.
• Produce regular reports on supplier performance, stock and supply chain activity.
• Contribute to process improvements that increase efficiency, accuracy and service levels.

About You

• Previous experience in supply chain, purchasing, logistics, planning or a similar coordination role.
• Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage competing priorities.
• Clear and professional communication skills, with confidence liaising at all levels.
• Good attention to detail and a practical, solutions-focused approach.
• Comfortable using Microsoft Excel and business systems; ERP or MRP experience is desirable.
• Able to work independently while contributing positively to a collaborative team.
• Experience in manufacturing, distribution or FMCG would be advantageous but is not essential.
