Supply Chain Coordinator - Stoke on Trent 

Our client is looking for an organised and proactive Supply Chain Coordinator to join their business and play a key role in supporting our procurement and supply chain operations.

This is an excellent opportunity for a procurement or supply chain professional who enjoys managing supplier relationships, maintaining accurate data, and ensuring the smooth flow of products and services across the business. You'll work closely with suppliers, Finance, Operations, and senior stakeholders to drive efficiency, compliance, and continuous improvement.

As Supply Chain Coordinator, you will:

  • Manage purchase orders throughout their full lifecycle, from creation through to delivery and closure.
  • Obtain and manage supplier quotations and ensure procurement processes are followed.
  • Monitor deliveries, supplier lead times, Proofs of Delivery, and invoice queries.
  • Maintain procurement data across ERP, finance, CRM, and related business systems.
  • Produce procurement reports, dashboards, and supplier performance metrics.
  • Monitor stock levels and identify potential supply risks.
  • Support supplier onboarding and maintain supplier records and documentation.
  • Assist with procurement compliance, governance, and audit requirements.
  • Build strong working relationships with suppliers and internal stakeholders.
  • Identify opportunities to improve procurement processes, reporting, and system efficiencies.

We're looking for someone with around 3 years experience in Procurement, Purchasing, Supply Chain Coordination, Order Management, or Vendor Management.

  • Experience managing supplier quotations, purchase orders, deliveries, and invoice queries.
  • Strong administration and organisational skills.
  • Excellent attention to detail and data accuracy.
  • Strong analytical and numerical abilities.
  • Advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
  • Experience working with procurement, ERP, finance, or CRM systems.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
Desirable
  • Experience within technology, telecommunications, managed services, defence, government, or other regulated industries.
  • Supplier onboarding experience.
  • Experience producing supplier KPI and performance reports.
  • Familiarity with Dynamics 365, Jira, Xero, SharePoint, or similar platforms.
  • Understanding of procurement governance and audit requirements.

Due to the nature of the work, candidates must either hold current SC clearance or be happy to obtain SC clearance if successful.
