🚀 The Role

We’re hiring a Procurement & Commercial Manager to lead purchasing, supply chain and commercial activity within an aerospace engineering environment.

This is a hands-on leadership role combining supplier management, operational procurement, and team oversight, supporting both internal operations and key customer accounts.

🔧 Key Responsibilities

• Lead procurement strategy across inventory and non-stock spend

• Manage supplier relationships, negotiations and performance

• Ensure material availability to meet operational and delivery targets

• Monitor purchasing KPIs and maintain accurate ERP/MRP data

• Drive cost reduction and continuous improvement initiatives

• Oversee component sourcing and outsourced repair management

• Support pricing, quoting and contract delivery requirements

• Ensure compliance with customer and regulatory requirements

• Work with engineering and commercial teams on costing and margin

• Provide insight into supplier performance and market trends

• Lead and develop a small procurement/commercial team

• Build strong relationships with internal stakeholders and suppliers

✅ About You

• Experience in procurement or supply chain within engineering/manufacturing
• Strong negotiation and supplier management skills
• Knowledge of ERP/MRP systems and inventory control
• Previous leadership or supervisory experience
• Good commercial awareness and communication skills

➕ Desirable

• Aerospace, aviation or MRO background
• CIPS qualification (or working towards)
• Experience in a regulated industry
