This Supply Chain and Operations Director role is a senior leadership position responsible for the end-to-end global supply chain and operations function for , purchasing, planning, logistics and warehousing across multiple international locations. The successful candidate will lead a multi-site team, drive supply chain strategy and operational excellence, work closely with commercial and finance teams.

Description

The role of Supply Chain & Operations Director will be responsible for:

• Lead the end-to-end supply chain and operations function, ensuring seamless integration across product development, procurement, planning, quality, logistics, and warehousing.
• Develop and execute new product introduction strategies, ensuring products are delivered on time, meet quality expectations, and support commercial objectives.
• Oversee demand planning, inventory management, and purchasing activities, aligning supply chain performance with financial targets, sales forecasts, and business growth plans.
• Drive global product quality and compliance standards, ensuring all products meet regulatory requirements and internal governance expectations across international markets.
• Lead warehousing and logistics operations, managing both internal and outsourced service providers to deliver cost-effective, on-time, and in-full customer service performance
• Build and maintain strong cross-functional partnerships with finance, sales, marketing, and external supply chain partners to support business objectives and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Lead, develop, and inspire multi-site international teams, fostering a high-performance culture focused on collaboration, operational excellence, talent development, and continuous improvement.

Profile

A successful Supply Chain & Operations Director should have:

• Strong experience in procurement, supply chain, and logistics within the FMCG sector.
• Proven ability to develop and execute supply chain strategies.
• Excellent negotiation and supplier management skills.
• Knowledge of demand planning and inventory management.
• Strong leadership and team management capabilities.
• Understanding of health, safety, and regulatory requirements in operations.
• Analytical skills to interpret data and drive improvements.

Job Offer

• Salary ranging from £80,000 to £85,000, dependent on the level of experience.
