Supply Chain Planning Analyst
Desford LE9 (Onsite Role)
Initial 12 Month Contract - likely to extend for the right person!
37.5 hours a week: Mon-Fri start between 06:00 - 08:00, potential for lunchtime finish on a Fri!
Up to £21.54 PAYE hourly rate plus holiday and pension contribution OR Umbrella rates up to £29.50 per hour

We’re looking for a Supply Chain Planning Analyst to join our client’s Supply Chain Team in Desford. This is an initial 12 month contract which has the potential to extend for the right person! The manufacturing facility, build several products on the line each day - you’ll bring your supply chain knowledge & analysis skills, to actively support changes and factory planning.
What will the Supply Chain Planning Analyst do?
- Support NPI supply chain planning activities for all Plan For Every Part elements
- Analyse data to improve identify trends and opportunities
- Develop cross functional plans for supply chain development within major NPI projects
- Collaborate with global suppliers & stakeholders across the UK, Asia, Europe and Americas
- Represent the supply chain in multiple leadership report out forums
- Monitor performance metrics and drive improvements in service, inventory, and efficiency
- Support continuous improvement initiatives across planning processes
What skills and experience will the Supply Chain Planning Analyst need?
- Demonstrable Supply Chain Planning experience within a manufacturing environment
- Knowledge of Supply Chain Planning, Lean Logistics & Inventory Optimisation, Planning & Project Delivery
- Proven ability to work independently when required and solve common problems
- Strong collaborative, interpersonal & communication skills to effectively work across functions to perform supply chain improvement work, you’ll need to be able to lead small project teams
- Essential: ERP/MRP experience. MS Excel - strong capability required in data analysis, Business case building, Pivot Tables, VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP desirable, data manipulation
- Desirable: Power BI, SAP, PowerPoint, Visio, General Microsoft 365 suite
