Winsearch are supporting the appointment of a Supply Chain Planning Manager into a senior, business-critical role within a fast-paced FMCG manufacturing environment.

This is a high-impact position responsible for ensuring a complex, high-volume operation consistently delivers against customer demand, service level expectations and operational targets.

The Role

• Take full ownership of planning and supply chain performance across a busy, fast-moving operation
• Manage the alignment of customer demand, production capacity and material availability
• Oversee end-to-end planning activity, ensuring plans are realistic, achievable and commercially effective
• Control and optimise inventory and stock levels, balancing availability, waste and cost
• Work closely with operations, logistics and procurement to maintain flow and minimise disruption
• Identify risks within the plan and take decisive, proactive action
• Drive improvements across forecasting accuracy, planning processes and supply chain efficiency
• Monitor and report on key operational KPIs, using data to support decision-making
• Lead and influence cross-functional teams, ensuring accountability and delivery

About You

• Proven experience within supply chain, production planning or materials planning
• Background in a high-volume FMCG environment
• Experience managing planning within a fast-paced, time-sensitive operation
• Strong understanding of materials flow, inventory, demand and capacity constraints
• Comfortable making decisions in a pressured, fast-changing environment
• Able to influence stakeholders and drive performance across teams
• Experience at senior planner, planning manager or supply chain manager level
