Hays Education are currently seeking enthusiastic and adaptable Supply Teachers to work in a range of welcoming and supportive primary schools across Blackpool.Due to increased demand from our partnership schools, we are looking for qualified teachers who can provide high-quality classroom cover across EYFS, Key Stage 1 and Key Stage 2. Whether you're seeking flexible work to fit around your lifestyle, returning to teaching, or looking to gain experience in a variety of school settings, we have opportunities to suit your needs.
As a Supply Teacher, you will have the opportunity to work in different schools, build your experience, and make a positive impact on pupils' learning without the additional pressures often associated with permanent class teaching roles.
Your new role

• Deliver engaging and effective lessons across a variety of year groups
• Maintain a positive and productive learning environment
• Follow school policies and lesson plans where provided
• Adapt quickly to new classroom settings and routines
• Manage behaviour effectively and promote positive learning experiences
• Support pupils in achieving their educational goals

What you'll need to succeed

• Holds Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
• Experience teaching within UK primary schools
• Strong classroom and behaviour management skills
• Flexible, reliable, and confident working in different school environments
• Excellent communication and organisational skills
• A genuine passion for teaching and supporting young learners
• Commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children
