TIA Recruitment is building a pool of Supply Teachers to work across a group of schools in North Birmingham, covering Sutton Coldfield and Erdington, throughout the 2026/27 academic year.

We're looking for qualified teachers available for both day-to-day supply and longer-term placements, offering flexibility to work around your own availability while enjoying the security of regular, local work with a trusted group of schools.

Responsibilities:

  • Delivering planned lessons in line with school policies and schemes of work
  • Managing classroom behaviour and maintaining a positive learning environment
  • Providing cover at short notice or for extended periods, as required
  • Adapting quickly to different school settings and pupil needs

Requirements:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent
  • Experience teaching in a UK primary or secondary setting
  • Strong classroom management skills and adaptability
  • Enhanced DBS on the update service (or willingness to apply)
  • Flexibility and reliability, with willingness to work across multiple schools
