As a Supply Teacher, you will have the opportunity to work in a variety of school settings, gaining valuable experience across different year groups, subjects, and teaching environments. Key Responsibilities
- Deliver engaging, high-quality lessons in accordance with the school's curriculum and lesson plans.
- Maintain a positive, safe, and inclusive classroom environment that supports learning and pupil wellbeing.
- Manage classroom behaviour effectively in line with each school's behaviour policy.
- Adapt teaching methods to meet the needs of pupils with a range of abilities and learning styles.
- Build positive relationships with pupils, school staff, and senior leadership teams.
- Complete lesson feedback and handover notes for the returning class teacher where required.
- Follow all school policies and procedures, including safeguarding, behaviour management, and health and safety requirements.
- Uphold high professional standards and represent the agency positively within each school.
Requirements
To be considered for this role, you should have:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS), QTLS, or an equivalent recognised teaching qualification.
- Experience teaching within UK primary or secondary schools.
- Excellent classroom and behaviour management skills.
- Strong communication and organisational abilities.
- A flexible, reliable, and professional approach to teaching.
- The ability to quickly adapt to different school environments and establish positive classroom routines.
- A sound understanding of the UK curriculum.
- An Enhanced DBS on the Update Service, or willingness to obtain one.
- The right to work in the UK.
