We are working in partnership with a number of welcoming and supportive secondary schools across Northampton who are looking to strengthen their pool of reliable Supply Teachers for the new academic year, starting in September 2026. Whether you're looking for regular work, a few days each week, or longer-term placements, we have opportunities to suit your availability.

As a Supply Teacher, you will:

• Deliver engaging lessons using work set by the absent class teacher

• Teach across a variety of subjects and year groups, or within your subject specialism where possible

• Create a positive learning environment that keeps students focused and engaged

• Manage classroom behaviour confidently in line with each school's policies

• Adapt quickly to different school settings, routines, and teaching styles

• Provide clear handover feedback for the returning teacher at the end of each assignment

We're looking for teachers who:

• Hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS/QTLS) or have relevant classroom teaching experience

• Are confident classroom practitioners with strong behaviour management skills

• Are flexible, reliable, and able to build positive relationships quickly

• Enjoy the variety that supply teaching offers

• Are available for day-to-day, short-term, or long-term assignments from September

• Have a genuine passion for supporting students and maintaining high standards in the classroom
