Tradewind Recruitment are currently seeking reliable and adaptable Primary Supply Teachers to work across a range of schools in Shirebrook. Opportunities are available across EYFS, Key Stage 1 and Key Stage 2, with work ranging from individual days to short-term and long-term bookings.

We are looking for full-time and part-time teachers, with flexible working patterns available to suit your availability and preferred year groups.

Responsibilities

Delivering pre-planned lessons across the Primary National Curriculum

Maintaining positive behaviour and established classroom routines

Adapting quickly to different schools, classes and year groups

Ensuring pupils remain engaged and supported throughout the school day

Providing feedback and marking work in line with school expectations

Supporting pupils with differing abilities and additional needs

Working effectively with Teaching Assistants and other school staff

Following school safeguarding and behaviour policies

Requirements

Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or an equivalent recognised UK teaching qualification

Recent experience teaching within a UK primary school

Good knowledge of the Primary National Curriculum

Strong classroom and behaviour management skills

A reliable, professional and adaptable approach

Enhanced DBS Disclosure, Overseas Police Clearances where applicable and suitable professional references

Comprehensive employment history covering the previous 10 years where possible

Right to work in the UK

Teachers undertaking short-term or long-term cover bookings are paid in line with the appropriate teaching pay scale from day one.
