You’ll be responsible for delivering engaging lessons, maintaining a positive learning environment and ensuring continuity of learning in the absence of the regular class teacher.

Responsibilities

• Deliver engaging and effective lessons in line with the school's curriculum and lesson plans
• Create a positive, safe and inclusive learning environment
• Manage classroom behaviour effectively and maintain high expectations
• Adapt teaching and activities to meet the needs of individual pupils
• Ensure pupils remain engaged and supported throughout the school day
• Follow school policies and procedures
• Provide feedback to the class teacher where appropriate

Candidates

The successful candidate will:

• Hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
• Have recent UK classroom experience, ideally within a primary school setting
• Be confident teaching across the primary age range EYFS – KS2
• Have strong classroom management skills
• Be reliable, professional and adaptable
• Have a genuine passion for supporting children's learning and development
• Be able to build positive relationships with pupils, staff and schools
