Salary: £85 – £100 per day
Daily rate is dependent on experience, qualifications, and relevant training. Higher rates within the band are reserved for candidates with more extensive experience and/or a recognised Teaching Assistant qualification. Pay is determined in line with school expectations and the Agency Worker Regulations (AWR), where applicable.
Hours of work: 8.30am – 3.30pm, Monday to Friday (term time only).

About the Role:
We are recruiting on behalf of a friendly, inclusive primary school in Southwark for a reliable, experienced Teaching Assistant to join our supply pool, with an immediate opportunity for a full-time, long-term placement supporting pupils across EYFS, KS1 and KS2.
This is a great opportunity for a confident TA who enjoys variety, thrives on building relationships quickly, and wants the stability of a long-term booking without losing the flexibility that comes with supply work.
Key Responsibilities:
• Supporting the class teacher with lesson delivery and differentiated activities
• Working 1:1 and in small groups with pupils, including those with SEND
• Delivering targeted interventions in literacy and numeracy
• Supporting pupils social, emotional and behavioural development
• Helping prepare learning resources and classroom displays
• Supervising pupils during transitions, break times and off-site visits
• Accurately recording and feeding back on pupil progress
Requirements:
To be eligible for this role and the stated rate of pay, applicants must have:
• Previous experience working with primary-aged children in a school or educational setting
• A patient, adaptable and proactive approach to supporting pupils
• Experience supporting SEND pupils is desirable
• A relevant qualification (e.g. Level 2/3 Teaching Assistant qualification) is beneficial but not essential
• The right to work in the UK
• An Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or a willingness to apply for one)
