Supply Teaching Assistant
Location: Hillingdon
Start Date: ASAP
Contract: Supply / Full-Time – 5 Days per Week
About the Role
We are currently seeking enthusiastic, reliable and adaptable Supply Teaching Assistants to join our team and work across a variety of mainstream and SEN schools in Hillingdon and the surrounding areas.
This role is ideal for a Teaching Assistant who enjoys variety and is confident adapting to different school environments, age groups and pupil needs. As a Supply Teaching Assistant, you will have the opportunity to work within different classrooms, supporting pupils and teachers while gaining valuable experience across a range of educational settings.
You may be supporting pupils on a one-to-one basis, in small groups or as part of the wider classroom, depending on the needs of each school. In SEN settings, you may work with pupils who have a range of additional needs, including autism, ADHD, communication and learning difficulties, social and emotional needs, or complex needs. Experience within SEN is desirable, but full training and support can be provided depending on the setting.
In mainstream schools, you will work alongside class teachers to support pupils with their learning, encourage positive behaviour and help ensure that all children are able to engage fully in classroom activities.
As a supply member of staff, flexibility and adaptability are essential. You will need to be comfortable working in different schools and able to quickly establish positive relationships with pupils and staff. You must also be available to work Monday to Friday, 5 days per week, providing schools with consistent and reliable support.
