Pay rate in line with the pledge - £38.43 Umbrella / £30.50 PAYE

As this is a community-based role - We will be looking for candidates from Cardiff and the surrounding area. Social Worker required to cover maternity leave, in Support4Families. Support4Familes is part of Cardiff’s early help and prevention team. 

The Support 4 Families Team are essential in helping families get the right help at the right time. That’s why we are developing our early intervention and prevention services to make sure families can access a range of services and tiered support to prevent the need for statutory social work intervention. You will carry out proportionate assessments, devise family plans with person centre planning and with a focus on your case management skills working actively with all partners to identify and meet individuals support needs. 

You will be delivering direct interventions with families and using initiative and flexibility to be creative with work.

  • A relevant Social Work Qualification
  • Registration with Social Care Wales
  • Enhanced DBS registered on the update service or be happy to apply for a DBS
  • 3 Years of referencing
  • Driving license with access to a car
