Location: Hybrid (Purfleet, Essex with regular travel to Head Office as required)

Reports to: Business Development Manager 

About the Role

We are looking for a highly organised and customer-focused Support Coordinator - to join our Commercial team. This is an exciting opportunity to support the Business Development Manager – Groups and the wider Trade Team, ensuring the smooth administration and delivery of group bookings while helping to achieve the department's commercial objectives.

This role would suit someone with excellent attention to detail, strong organisational skills and a passion for delivering exceptional customer service. You'll be responsible for managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment while maintaining accuracy and professionalism at all times.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide day-to-day administrative support to the Business Development Manager – Groups and the wider Trade Team.
  • Handle group booking enquiries via telephone and email.
  • Manage festive event group bookings from enquiry through to completion.
  • Maintain group booking files, including cabin allocations.
  • Input bookings for direct groups and coach operator partners where required.
  • Prepare and distribute operational documentation to onboard teams to ensure an exceptional guest experience.
  • Maintain and update group distribution lists for targeted communications.
  • Ensure accurate records are maintained across all systems and documentation.
  • Identify opportunities to improve processes and ways of working.
  • Represent the company at industry events and ship visits when required.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures at all times.

About You

We're looking for someone who has:

  • Excellent organisational skills with the ability to prioritise a busy workload.
  • Outstanding attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • A proactive approach with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Good IT skills, particularly Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Office.
  • A customer-focused attitude and professional approach.
  • Commercial awareness and a willingness to contribute to team success.
  • Experience within the travel, hospitality or leisure industry would be advantageous but is not essential.
  • A full UK driving licence and valid passport.

  • Delivery of operational communications within agreed timescales.
  • Providing high-quality support that contributes to the Groups team's sales and growth objectives.
