Support Worker

Belmont Recruitment are currently looking for a Support Worker to join an Adults Learning Disability Care Service on an ongoing shift basis. 

This role is ad-hoc shift cover with days and waking nights available. 

What You'll Be Doing

  • Providing person-centred care and support tailored to individual needs.
  • Supporting people with personal care, nutrition and medication where required.
  • Encouraging independence and developing daily living skills.
  • Supporting individuals to take part in activities both within the service and in the local community.
  • Building positive relationships with the people you support, their families and professionals.
  • Completing accurate daily records and reporting any safeguarding concerns.

Requirements:

  • Experience supporting adults with learning disabilities, autism or complex needs
  • Genuine passion for supporting vulnerable adults
  • Good communication and teamwork skills
