Children's Residential Support Worker

Location: Wellingborough, Northamptonshire (NN8 1EG)
Pay Rate: £14.50 per hour

We are looking for experienced Children's Residential Support Workers to join a dedicated team supporting children and young people aged 8-16 years within a residential setting.

You'll provide high-quality care, promote positive behaviour, support young people with their daily routines, education and activities, and help create a safe, nurturing environment where they can thrive. You'll work closely with colleagues and other professionals to safeguard children and support their emotional, social and personal development.

Requirements

• Previous experience working in a Children's Residential Care setting is essential.
• Level 3 NVQ/Diploma in Residential Childcare is preferred; however, experienced candidates without the qualification are encouraged to apply.
• Good understanding of safeguarding and child protection.
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to build positive relationships.
• Flexible to work shifts, including evenings, weekends and sleep-ins where required.
