The Role We are seeking compassionate and dedicated Support Workers to provide person-centred support in both one-to-one and group settings. You will empower individuals to develop independence, access their community, build confidence, and achieve their personal goals.
Essential Requirements To be considered, applicants must have:
  • A minimum of 12 months' UK Support Worker experience
  • Experience supporting people with:
    • Autism
    • Learning disabilities
    • Mental health conditions
    • Complex needs
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • A positive and proactive approach to supporting individuals
  • Up-to-date mandatory training including:
    • Practical & Theory Moving and Handling
    • Medication Administration
    • All additional mandatory training required by Swanton Care
Compliance Requirements Before commencing work, the following documentation must be provided:
  • Complete Corus Worker Profile
  • Valid Enhanced DBS Certificate
  • Valid Right to Work documentation
DBS Requirements
  • Enhanced DBS must be renewed every 12 months.
  • Workers registered with another supplier must have a current DBS Update Service check or obtain a new Enhanced DBS.
Right to Work Workers requiring a visa must have a valid online Right to Work check completed before placement and maintained in line with visa requirements.
References Applicants must provide references covering the last 3 years (5 years preferred), including:
  • References from professional or business email addresses
  • At least one recent Support Worker reference
  • Confirmation of suitability for the role and communication skills where possible
