We are looking for a bubbly, caring, and positive Support Worker to support an 18-year-old young woman as she transitions into her own home and develops her independence. She has autism and experiences mental health challenges, so we are seeking someone patient, understanding, and committed to providing person-centred support. She is a huge Taylor Swift fan, loves music, and adores her dog, so applicants must be comfortable working in a home where a dog is present. No personal care is required for this role.
This individual is transitioning from a hospital stay during which she experienced periods of distress that resulted in behaviours that challenge and the need for frequent restraint. Through consistent, person-centred support and continuity of care, we expect these behaviours to reduce as she settles into her new environment and support arrangements.
What We’re Looking For
cliché – however we really are looking for people who care! We believe the qualities of a great Support Worker are being empathetic, supportive, resilient, respectful and courageous and that is all you will need to succeed within this role.
What We Offer
Alongside the satisfaction of making a real difference, you’ll receive:
- Comprehensive induction and specialist training
- Clear career progression opportunities
- Employee benefits, lifestyle savings & wellbeing support
- 24/7 Employee Assistance Programme
- Online counselling and GP access
- Cycle‑to‑work and salary‑sacrifice schemes
- Enhanced DBS provided
We welcome applications from individuals of all backgrounds. Diversity strengthens our team, and we are committed to creating an inclusive environment where everyone can thrive. We are dedicated to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of adults with care and support needs and expect all staff to uphold the highest standards of professionalism.
