Support Worker
Support Worker – Full Time & Part Time
Location: Eastry & Aylesham, Kent
Hours: Full-time and part-time opportunities available. Flexibility is required Monday to Sunday across a rota covering all shifts.
Salary: £25,845 per annum (pro rata)
A full UK driving licence and access to your own vehicle are desirable due to the location of the services. You must also be willing to drive the mobility vehicles used by the people we support.

Eleven 11 Recruitment is recruiting on behalf of our client for compassionate and enthusiastic Support Workers to join a dedicated team supporting adults across services in Eastry and Aylesham, Kent.

About the Role
You'll be supporting adults with learning disabilities, communication needs, behaviours of concern and pica, helping them to live independently, develop new skills and enjoy fulfilling lives within their local communities.
The team works across both Eastry and Aylesham throughout the week, providing consistent, person-centred support. The people you support have access to mobility vehicles, allowing them to enjoy activities, appointments and community outings, so you'll need to be confident driving these vehicles as part of your role.
What You'll Be Doing
No two days are the same, but you'll be:
• Supporting people with all aspects of daily living while promoting independence, dignity and choice.
• Encouraging participation in hobbies, activities and community life.
• Supporting people to build and maintain relationships with family and friends.
• Assisting with cooking, shopping, household tasks and managing finances.
• Providing person-centred personal care where required.
• Driving the people you support to appointments, activities and social outings using their mobility vehicles.
• Supporting individuals in line with their communication needs and personalised support plans.
• Celebrating achievements and helping people reach their personal goals.
What We're Looking For
We're looking for someone who is:
• Caring, compassionate and reliable.
• Passionate about supporting people to live independent and fulfilling lives.
• Flexible and willing to work across a variety of shifts.
• A confident communicator and team player.
• Willing to learn and undertake training.
• Previous care experience is beneficial but not essential.
Driving Licence: A full UK driving licence and access to your own vehicle are desirable due to the rural locations of the services. You must also be willing to drive mobility vehicles used by the people we support.
Shift Patterns
Shifts include:
• 7:00am – 2:00pm or 4:00pm
• 12:00pm – 4:00pm
• 2:00pm – 10:00pm
No waking nights are required.
